Nano Carbon Window Tint Film is relatively new in the window tinting industry. These films came on the scene about15 years ago as an alternative to metal based window tinting due to them being prone to causing signal loss when using AM radio or cell phone technology. Carmel Window Tinting was one of the first tinting companies in the Carmel area to offer these films. Particle films as they are known by because of the nano sized particles found in the material are able to block a significant amount of infra-red radiation that typically comes through the glass with inferior dyed films. Nano Carbon films quickly became the choice of window tinting shops in the sunbelt states as it became obvious that these films were much better at blocking heat.

Today's dyed window films have been replaced by Nano Carbon films and account for a large part of our business.
