How Long Does it Last?

With proper care this material can last up to 24-36 months. It is extremely important to use a water repellant product to allow rain to bead off the surface thereby reducing damage to the product from scratches caused by dirty wiper blades.

Will This Material Keep Me From Replacing My Windshield?

In most cases yes. This material is designed to absorb the force of an impact across the windshield thereby reducing the affect of a localized impact. By doing so, breaks to the outer layer of the vehicle's windshield are lessened, if not eliminated. It should be noted that if a projectile is large enough, or hits the glass at an unusual speed, there can be damage. However, it is not likely to occur.
