Why So Many Different Window Tinting Films?

We offer different types of films to cater to the different needs and preferences of our customers. Over the years we have seen an increasing number of customers wanting more out of their window tinting. Just like tire shops carry all different KINDS of tires to cater to the needs of clients with different needs, we carry different window tinting films that do different things and satisfies the needs of different drivers. Some customers may prioritize heat and glare reduction, while others may be more concerned about UV and IR protection or electronic interference. There are a few that don't care about performance, they just want a tinted "look" and heat rejection is not a major concern. By offering a wide range of films, our company can help our customers choose the film that best meets their needs. ​

Dyed Film (Dead Tech)

DYED FILM

• Dyed film: This is the most basic type of window tinting film. It is made of a layer of dyed film that is applied to the inside of the car's windows. Dyed window tint is relatively inexpensive and provides good glare reduction, but they usually fade over time and do not offer much protection from the sun's Infra-red radiation and can actually increase the heat passing into your vehicle. ​WE NO LONGER CARRY DYED FILMS AS THEY ARE INFERIOR IN MANAGING HEAT.

• Carbon Film: This is a film containing nano sized particles of carbon. Carbon technology provides some heat and glare reduction and offers good UV protection, and it does not interfere with electronic signals. It is a good middle-of-the-road choice for those who want some of the benefits of both dyed and ceramic films blocking out up to 67% of the sun's IR radiation and 99% of the UV or skin cancer causing rays. Carbon is also a GOOD choice for the budget conscience individual.

• Ceramic film: This is a high-end recent technology film that made of ceramic nano particles suspended in a polyester film. It provides BETTER heat and glare reduction and offers excellent IR and UV protection up to 98% of IR and 99% of UV. It also does not interfere with electronic signals. Ceramic films have a unique ability to insulate you from the Sun by blocking a large amount of Infra-Red radiation, keeping you and your car's occupants comfortable and cool.
